The Fear Is Real

Story Behind The Song

There isn't too much else to say about the song. This one started with a guitar riff and the line "The fear is real". Everything else was built off of that. The song ended up touching a little bit on politics and the news media but just a tiny bit while also talking about how time is too short to waste on everyone else's opinions and beliefs.

Song Description

This song is a little bit of an extension of out last single Gotta Get Out. This one is about how we should all live our lives and be happy. Don't worry about what others think about us or how other people think we should live our lives. There's so much going on in the world. So many bad things happening and instead of being concerned with what other people think we should do with our lives the way we want to. Be happy and enjoy the short time we all have here.

Lyrics

Are we gonna make it through this day?
Are we ever gonna make it through another tomorrow?
The sun is setting overhead
All the lies in the news that we're fed
It's a wonder that we're here and not dead
We seem incapable of change

The fear is real this time
We have palled our prime
Nowhere left to turn...

Are we gonna make it through this day?
Are we ever gonna make it through another tomorrow?
The sun's exploding overhead
Make the most of whatever time is left
do what you want not what others expect
They all don't matter anyway

The fear is real this time
We have passed our prime
Nowhere left to turn...
