Story Behind The Song

For the past 10 years gun viloence has been increasing in our public schools,communities and our cities all across the world. What inspired me to write this song and to promote a campaign behind it; is when the Columbine shooting happened on April 20,1999. Parents everywhere got a wake up, when this story hit the airwaves. Every since then gun violence has breaking out in schools every where. Because of this fact, and because I also have a child I wanted to write music that would bring us together as a community and a nation. Maybe a young person will hear this song on a campus or in a city some where; and decide to lay down their guns.
