Tomorrow

Story Behind The Song

Kathy came to me one night and wanted to show me this hook she came up with on the keyboard. She already had the words written and the melody in her head. She sang it to me and I took over and arranged the music. It took about a week to put it all together but we wanted to keep it simple. We hope you enjoy it. Thanks Kathy and Rusty - Signal 30

Lyrics

Tomorrow
by Spark Hartman

As I lay down in the dark I will dream of tomorrow
Still I think of yesterday When we had so much to say
Seemed we would always be that way

When it seems I've written every line And I'm running out of time to borrow
And there's nothing that I can do To make you see that my heart is true
Tomorrow

Do you feel life's arms around you Can you see the sunshine through the rain
Do you see the dark turn into day We've got so much left to say
Tomorrow
Do you see the beauty in the beast You were born in the springtime on a breeze
If I reach my hand out to you Would you take it or turn away
In our tomorrow

I can see a light somewhere Way down deep inside
And I wake to hear the birds Their wings lift me up
So high above the clouds No fear of falling down
And I will wear that gown And you can bare a crown

As I stand there in the dawn On a dewy sleepy lawn
No more sorrow
And I know that I've got a lot to prove And a mountain there to move
When tomorrow Comes

Do you feel life's arms around you Can you see the sunshine through the rain
Do you see the dark turn into day We've got so much left to say
Tomorrow
Do you see the beauty in the beast You were born in the springtime on a breeze
If I reach my hand out to you Are you gonna take it or turn away
In our tomorrow

I can see you holding on And I can do the same
For tomorrow

Loved the innocence of this song . Reminded me of Tara Palmer - Tompinkson .

Nicely flowing and really pretty tune. Voice adds a very nice touch to it. Really enchanting lyrics. The strings just past the 4 minute mark are really nice and add a lot to the piece.

Such a sweet sound
