Everyone, every once in awhile, will experience a day of complete defeat. The kind of day that just doesn't get any better. The kind of day that weighs on your shoulders in a painful way. This song is the result of one of 'those days'. While the message is somewhat downhearted, I do hope that the listener will hear that there is never a complete loss of hope....(although it sometimes feels that way). The bridge states that "On this day, Praise is hard to find", which does imply that's it's there...somewhere.
