Lyrics
ZACHARY MY BUMBLEBEE
CHORUS:
I have a Bumblebee, his name is Zachary
And he means so much to me
Zachary, my Bumblebee
He tells me many things about his family
VS 1
His brothers and sisters are big and hairy
They're yellow and black and a little bit scary
They fly around in a clumsy flight
They have a lazy buzz you can here at night
CHORUS
VS 2
The big mother Queen, she's such a hardy soul
Hibernates till spring, then she's ready to roll
She works on her own to find a suitable nest
Then she lays her eggs to produce the rest
CHORUS
VS 3
Now some of the bees get to stay inside
They're not quite as strong as the bees that provide
They stay and do the housework, others forage
They have to get the nectar, bring it back for storage.
CHORUS
VS 4
Now I don't want to scare you says Zachary
But my family will sting just occasionally
They need protection to stay alive
They've a big job to do, living in the beehive
