Conspiracy Radio

Story Behind The Song

I used to listen to Art Bell coming home from gigs driving late a night on the dark highways of the West Coast, I'd keep myself awake listening to these callers to the show and the weird experiences that they all had in common. had they ben abducted were they they crazy? It made for great theatre of the mind and Art called my place and gave me permission to use his voice in the song.

Lyrics

Conspiracy Radio
by Sean Hogan

Verse 1
Ten after midnight under starry satellite skies, I lie awake taking in the the cover-up talk, can't stop did I hear that right. Live conversations beaming out to us all in the dark. Real life phone line on-air experts warning the world things are falling apart.

Chorus

Coast to coast to the average Joe it may be hard to tell oh well I listen close, ya the truth is out there ask Art Bell; area 51, is it aliens, and laser guns or government ties to wars lies spinnin' right out of control, conspiracy radio

Verse 2

Critics say how it's just a phase, don't you worry it's days will end. It's all hype how they spin it just right, makin' foes of the public's friends. They dare ask what do you believe of rumours going bump in the night. Cloak and dagger, Media swagger the writing on wall is it wrong is it right

Chorus

Coast to coast, to the average Joe it may be hard to tell oh well I listen close, ya the truth is out there ask Art Bell; area 51, is it aliens, and laser guns or government ties to wars lies spinnin' right out of control, conspiracy radio

bridge*

I heard it all, who took the fall, there's a strange smell in the air. It's the devil you know or the devil you don't, it's a threat you must beware...

Chorus

Coast to coast, to the average Joe it may be hard to tell oh well I listen close, ya the truth is out there ask Art Bell; area 51, is it aliens, and laser guns or government ties to wars lies spinnin' right out of control, conspiracy radio
