Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song in Twin Falls Idaho while visiting my ex wifes family. I actually set up gigs to play both nights while I was on vacation in Twin Falls. So I guess I shouldn't expect a marriage to work if I can't take a three day weekend off of music.
Song Description
In addition to missing a loved one this song is about sort of working yourself to death on stage and in life. It's a song about not taking time to enjoy the simple relaxing things in life. It speaks also to trying to give yourself to someone and completely opening up to them and becoming unguarded.

Lyrics
It's another night in the city, I'm so tired of missing you. Well all I've got is this bottle. It won't bring me back to you.
My eyes so tired and heavy, killing me, it's killing you, I'm just trying to hold it together, while I break your heart in two.
Well I've seen your love on the surface, now I'm deeper in to you. I somehow kept my distance, I can't get too much of you.
Your love's my addiction, well I wonder what I'd do if I woke up one cold morning, and I gave my all to you, oh yeah.
Well tonight you look so pretty, moving hair from your eyes, with what used to be those fingers, wipin tear drops you would cry.
Your love is my addiction, well I wonder what I'd do if I woke up one cold morning, and I gave my all to you.
I'd find a way to tell it all to you. I wouldn't be here so lonely, alone, and missing you. Your loves my addiction, and I wonder what I'd do if I woke one cold morning, and I gave my all to you. It's another night in the city, I'm so tired of missing you, well tonight I miss my baby, bring me back to you, oh yeah.
