Story Behind The Song
I couldn't get the tune out of my head. I always liked the late 60s early 70s pop songs - catchy, upbeat, naive, yet somehow easy to picture relate to. So I put lyrics to the tune making the singer the naive holder of a crush - if only it was 1971 ;)
Song Description
Very catchy, upbeat late 60s pop (monkees, turtles, first class) song about innocent love. Same sentiment as "I think I love you" by the partridge family with an upbeat feel like Daydream Believer.

Lyrics
Love Is Blind
She's walking along in a daydream
Just smiling with her head in the clouds
She doesn't give a damn for the cold, cruel world
Enjoying getting lost in the crowds
The world around her falls out of notice
Just dreaming of her own special day
She's got a perfect somebody on her mind
The one who'll come to take her away
And I can't tell her anything
Her eyes are on that diamond ring
She thinks life will be perfect all the time
When her Prince Charming comes her way
With just one kiss he makes her day
To see her is to know that love is blind.
She's looking alone in the window
The mannequins give her a smile
She loves the way they model her favorite dress
She knows that she'll be back in a while
And I can't tell her anything
Her eyes are on that diamond ring
She thinks life will be perfect all the time
When her Prince Charming comes her way
With just one kiss he makes her day
To see her is to know that love is blind.
And then she goes on home
Alone to wait and see
Because she knows who he will be
I hope its me
And I can't tell her anything
Her eyes are on that diamond ring
She thinks its only happiness she'll find
When her Prince Charming comes her way
With just one kiss he makes her day
To see her is to know that love is blind.
