Story Behind The Song
My wife used to work on a farm in Michigan when she was younger. She is really easy on the eyes, and the farm hands used to give her a hard time. Some days when she would be pushing a wheel barrel across the yard full of horse manure, they would say "well, there she goes.........she's not much for pretty, but she's good for pull plow".
After I heard that story, I felt obligated to write a song about it. I could I not?
Song Description
Uptempo humorous song. About the all american farm girl who looks all rough during the day while doing her daily chores........but she's a lady who knows how to get down at night. She cleans up real well.

Lyrics
verse
She's a mule of a woman she's one of a kind
She's a cool drink of water when my mouth turns dry
She can mend up a fence and milk a cow
No she's not much for pretty
But she's good for pull plow
chorus
No she's not much for pretty but she's good for pull plow
she's out in the fileds till the sun goes down
and the only one these tired eyes can see
When the work is done at the end of the day
We go out to the barn for a roll in the hay
She's a lady to me who knows how to get down
No she's not much for pretty, but she's good for pull plow
verse
She's a tractor driving mama and a barnyard queen
In her flannel insulateds and her old blue jeans
when she's out chopping wood with sweat on her brow
No she's not much for pretty but she's good for pull plow
chorus:
No she's not much for pretty...........................
