The Listeners were warming up for practice and Ronan jammed out a quick E minor chord riff in an off-beat, which Chealsea and Bryan asked him to repeat. Soon a bassline and drum beat were added, and Ronan came back the next week with a set of lyrics that worked off the frantic energy of the music.
