Story Behind The Song
My sister had a nasty divorce from man that cared more for himself then he did for his family and kids. So I described that as leaving her on the tracks, for the next train. But fortunately a man came into her life and saved her (the next train that came was her rescue train). The man she had been praying for came and cured her broken heart; her Rescue Train came and took her away from the train tracks, and got her back on her feet.
Song Description
Rescue Train starts with her ex-husband,who left her in the cold, with two kids and didn't care about her. She was struggling for awhile and then a "rescue train" came to cure her heart and save her, if you will. She'd been waiting for her prince charming to come, and he finally did. He came and helped her and got her through some rough patches.

Lyrics
He left you out in the cold
Rain, sleet, and snow
On the tracks with your hands tied up
You got no place to go
Night falls and you feel alone
Then you suddenly see
A light as bright as the blazing sun
you cry save me
Your rescue train my dear
Is coming today
Your rescue train is here
To take you away
You've been waiting for prince charming to come
And now he's finally here. Oh, Lord!
Your prayers are answered and your heart is cured
with a love that you adore
