Sad Christmas songs have always moved RJ Comer, so when he sat down to write this--his first Christmas song--it came out sad. It is inspired by and written for lovers separated at Christmastime by circumstance, particularly military personnel and their families. A lot of people are lonely at Christmastime and Country music has always embraced a good tear-jerker, he hopes this sad Christmas song may be marketable even though sad Christmas songs are not the norm.
