Story Behind The Song

Coyote Kisses is about falling for the wild card dharacter, the man who is dangerous yet attractive because of that very danger. Its about lust and passion and wild love that ultimately turns into destructive love and betrayals with either physical or emotional damage and violence occuring. Its about how wild passion can destroy and spin out of control and its also about not following your instincts. How a character like Coyote in the guise of a man or lover can be a trickster character and who can prey on you and destroy every bone in your body or every part of your spirit and yet he gets you through guile and seduction and its the very seduction that makes you let him into your world with open arms and wide eyes. The message is to be aware and to watch your instincts carefully and to choose well in love or there can be serious consequences. It is also a very sexual song full of wild abandon and animal imagery and howling out passions and expressing yourself with animal like force and desires.

Song Description

Coyote Kisses is a song about being taken in by a charmer and by lust and attraction and then subsequently realising this person is bad for you but not being able to pull away until its too late and you have been emotionally abused or otherwise and are broken down by them. Its a song about dangerous passionalte yet ultimately dysfunctional love.
