Story Behind The Song

There was this anonymous couple in a relationship but the relationship failed because one of them was through all kinds of stuff and trying to be everything else but themselves and it damaged and ended the relationship. Years down the road this individual who was trying to please everyone,wearing so many different hats and trying to be everything but themselves and loosing the one they loved finally found out who they actually were. So now they are content being just who they are and not being someone they are not. They still have to deal with the fact however that they had to loose the one they love in the midst of finding themselves. So they are very sorrowful and apologetic to their lost love.
