Story Behind The Song
Stay was written after watching the sun set into the ocean with a friend while sitting on a cliff at a San Diego beach. It was so beautiful that I wished to freeze time, and stay in that moment forever.
Song Description
Stay captures the feeling of never wanting to leave that great moment of watching the sunset with it's catchy melody and country-blues style guitar hooks.

Lyrics
What if time didn't matter?
What if time didn't exist?
What if we could spend forever
In a moment like this?
What if we move slow?
made each second last
Instead of running forward
Onto the next thing so fast
Maybe we could stay
Forever this way
And just sit, enjoy the silence
Watch the sky as the sun sets
Stay here for a while and just breathe
You and me, and I think
We're on the same page
When I say, "What is time anyway?"
I think we should stay
What if I didn't move?
Would you stay with me?
Stuck in this moment in time
Do you think that
Maybe we could stay
forever this way?
And just sit, enjoy the silence
Watch the sky as the sun sets
Stay here for a while and just breathe
You and me, and I think
We're on the same page
When I say, "What is time anyway?"
I think we should...
Stay right here (right here)
Watch the sun (watch the sun)
Disappear, yeah
We don't need to move
Or do anything too soon
We can just sit, enjoy the silence
Watch the sky as the sun sets
Stay here for a while and just breathe
You and me, and I think
We're on the same page
When I say, "What is time anyway?"
I think we should stay
We're on the same page
When I say, "What is time anyway?"
I think we should stay
I think we should stay
I think we should stay
I think we should stay
I think we should stay
