Story Behind The Song
I found a tiny terra-cotta statuette of a nude woman cringing semi-fetal with her hands covering her face at a yard sale. The group was brainstorming new songs and we kinda drew a blank one night. So I'm looking at the statuette and I'm thinking there are powerful emotions going on with that piece of clay. So I placed it in front of us and said, "Look at this and let's write down what it says to us, you can't look at this and not feel powerful emotions". So we looked at this tiny figurine in its obvious trajic state and and wrote this song. We feel that it is an extension of what the (unknown)Artist was trying to convey when they created the statuette.
