I had been married for 10 or 15 years and my husband was showing not itrest in me. I was thinking about how bad he wanted to marry me and how nice he was to me and then as soon as we got married he acted like he treat me any way he wanted and that I would stay just because I was his and we were married. I wanted to let him know in this song that if he wants me to stay he just has to love me the way he did before I was his. It really isn't that hard to keep a girl. Just do what ever it was that you did when you were courting, she like it then and she will like it when she is married even better.

A guy goes into a restaurant and the watress notices how sad he is and asks him what the matter is. He tells her that his girl has just left him. The watress tell him it is because he didn't love her like he did before she was his. He tells the waitress that there is nothing he can do and that she is gone for good. The waitress tells him that it isn't too late and to run as fast as he can as tell her he loves her and that he will be able to keep her if he lovers her the way he did before she was his.
