Lyrics

We went to see a man who could get us what we need.
A gallon of beer and an ounce of the weed.
But bullets start to fly and we run we run we run
We came looking for a good time and were met by a dealers guns

was it worth it?
I think it was now
Was it worth it?
It was an adventure
and we are young
We are young
We came looking for fun,
It was worth it...

We went out to a bar
And we danced to Chris de beurgh
And we didn't like his music
But it helped me into your bra
And we went back to your place
I never looked you in the face
And we did it with the lights out
Just like you wanted

Was it worth it?
I think it was now
Was it worth it?
It was an adventure
And we are young
We are young
We came looking for fun,
It was worth it...

You called me a cynic
Just because i couldn't hear it
But i belived you all the same
She was beating out my name
And every kick and every beat
Of her unborn heart was sweet
But our lives can never change
Every leopard is the same

It was worth it
It was worth it all the same
This is our adventure
We are young but we're together
And it wasn't planned like this
But this is just the way it is
And we are young and we are free
And it was worth it.
