Story Behind The Song
A few years ago now, many of my friends started getting married. I went to a lot of weddings, including my own. Lots of happiness, lots of nice photos etc. etc. But sadly now the break-ups have begun, and this song takes a look at that phenomena.
Song Description
When a bittersweet relationship that once promised much delivers only conflict and pain, it's time to move on.

Lyrics
I'm tired of playing childish games,
Of calling names and casting blame,
Of making up, then falling out;
It's not what I'm about
You were mine to have and hold,
But the passion has gone cold;
So give me back my heart
We'll live our lives apart.
You go your way and I'll go mine
We'll both be stronger in good time
You'll find me hiding in a crowd
I'm going where the music's loud
And I'll be trying to forget
The years that I regret
You were mine to have and hold,
But the passion has gone cold;
So give me back my heart
We'll live our lives apart.
You go your way and I'll go mine
We'll both be stronger in good time
You go your way and I'll go mine
We'll both be stronger in good time
You were mine to have and hold,
But the passion has gone cold;
So give me back my heart
We'll live our lives apart.
