Kathy's such an angel
You could see it in her smile
Smiling there on an ultrasound
At 30 weeks, it would be a while

She was younger
Younger than we knew

Kelly's full of mischief
And we knew it from the start
She would roll around at 3 am
And kick her mother's heart

They were younger

Those were golden days

Kathy drew a picture
Of a cat we used to have
Kelly added whiskers and a funny hat
And named the picture "Dad"

They were growing
Faster than we knew

Slides, swings and monkey bars
Playing in the park
Running through the leaves
Around the trees
And in between the light and dark

Better to hoe the garden row by row
Then plant your seeds and watch your children grow
Life is so full of things for you to do
