Story Behind The Song
In 2008 we lost our eldest son in an accident, his name was David and he was only 25 years old. I wrote this song for him. The original version mentioned his name, but I was asked to make another version that would be appropriate for anyone who has lost an adult son.
The song has been sung by Marri Torres. Her voice is very soulful and captures something of the pain of our families loss.
