Story Behind the Song

Always wondered why this song was never written, so I wrote it. Hello Ford Motor Company. Are you listening?

I like the sound of the rhythm guitar and the sound of the fiddle and steel guitar - very cool lyrics. Sounds a bit like Dierks Bentley.

I like how this song sounded. Great instrumentation, recording production, arrangement, and vocal presentation.

The vocals really added to the whole presentation of the song. It's definitely the kind of tune that gets your toe tapping. I could see this song being marketed to artists that like the "older style" Country. Good sounding song.

Lyrics

The Ford Song

You were my first love
You changed my life
I can't help it, I still dream about you
So beautiful
In the warm summer sun
I can't stand to go anywhere without you

Prechorus
We were made for each other
There's no place I'd rather be
Than tearing down a country road
Just you and me

Chorus
Thank you Lord
For my Ford
She came along
And took my breath away

Thank you Lord
For my Ford
I'm on my knees
And all I gotta say is
Thank you Lord
For my Ford

You rock my world
Like no other girl
You're strong and tough, I sure like that body
You never let me down
You know your way around
You're a classic, certified, all-American hottie

We were made for each other
All I wanna do
Is get on the road and drive
Going anywhere with you

Thank you Lord
For my Ford
She came along
And took my breath away

Thank you Lord
For my Ford
I'm on my knees
And all I gotta say is
Thank you Lord
For my Ford
