Song Description

Karaoke bars are still flourishing 20 years after the karaoke craze. There are still tons of karaoke nights all over the world and it has given rise to an army of karaoke stars in many towns across the world. This is a song dedicated to all those "regular people" who become stars in their local hangouts

Story Behind the Song

With all of the singing competition TV shows, I realized that karoke bars are still a thing and that there are hundreds, (if not thousands)of really talented bar singers that entertain guests with karaoke tracks

Lyrics

Karaoke Queen

She's been working all day just tryin to make another dime

Got the country station playing at her desk most of the time

When she cranks up her radio

There's not a song that she don't know

Country, Rock, Hip-Hop, Rap a little beat box

That girl can really put on a show

She goes by Sarah Christine

She's like nothing that you've ever seen

She knows every single word to every single song that Miranda Lambert sings

She may not be a star

But down at the local bar

Most nights you can hear her singin'

She's the Karaoke Queen

She's the Karaoke Queen

I'll never forget that time on a business trip

My buddies and I headed out to get a little nip

They had a DJ, music and lights

And this girl was really workin the mic

Everyone in the bar was filling up the tip jar

We could watch her sing all night

They said her name was Anna Marie

And in between serving our drinks

She knew every single word to every single song that Kelly Clarkson sings

She may not be a star

But down at the local bar

Most nights you can hear her singin'

She's the Karaoke Queen

She's the Karaoke Queen

Music break

Rap break

(tag)

She may not be a star

But down at the local bar

Most nights you can hear her singin'

She's the Karaoke Queen

She's the Karaoke Queen
