Story Behind The Song

The song was inspired by a friend of mine that committed suicide. To understand his motives I found myself writing a song from his point of view, his feelings and his essence. When it is written "No one left to know". was his decision about the futility of existence. It is a sad but beautiful song to me that touches at the core of existence.

Song Description

The song is about a human being who decides to leave all he knows behind. He/she lets go of what they used to hold most dear and are realizing their "destination. Nothing left to do, nothing left to say but "I have turned into a butterfly..."
