Story Behind The Song
My stepmother kicked my and my brother out of our own house when my father passed away. The house was left to us in the will, but since they refinanced three weeks before his death, we were not entitled to it nor entitled to continue living there. My brother and I lived there for 17 years, she had only lived there for a little over a year. The formaldehyde line is more or less symbolic for preserving her as part of the house that will never escape whether or not she is dead. I hated her very much and couldn't believe how she handled my father's death and what she had done to my brother and I.

Lyrics
See, you really caught me off guard this time. You need this so very bad. Well if this is all you have, then fine. Whatever you say, I, there's nothing I can do. I don't have to pretend anymore. IF I HAVE TO SEE YOU ONE MORE TIME, I'll DRAW A BATH OF FORMALDEHYDE AND HOLD YOU UNDER UNTIL I STRIKE A SMILE AS I WATCH YOU DIE. GOD, YOU KNOW I'LL DO WHAT'S RIGHT. Breathe. Take everything you need because I don't need it anymore. It seems like you've finally come out from your shell. Life. Our lives will carry on. And I will carry on. (Don't you forget you fucking bitch).
