Story Behind The Song
I was gazing up at the clouds on a summer day and thought about times in the past when i have been so sad i thought i could not physicaly move from the spot where i was laying. I thought of the melody much later; i think it sounds kind of spanish, like a song sweeping across the spanish moores.
Song Description
This person is so heartbroken that the person she loved does not love her and does not want her to love him that she lays down on the grass, heartbroken. She is gazing up at the clouds and feels like she can never move again. She would not feel rain fall, or seasons change. Lyrics
i could lay here forever
and feel the sands of time wash over me
i could not notice and be numbed by the air
Chorus
grass would grow around me
rain would fall
i still would feel nothing at all
and many suns would set
but i would not notice the darkness
winter would come but i would not feel its chill
chorus
and i could say i love you but you dont want me to
and i could say i miss you so but you would never hear
chorus
if a storm came i would be at its will
if spring came the daises would grow
chorus
and though you may never come
i will never leave
i will love you until forever
or so it seems
