I have been a drama teacher and was stunned by a beautiful student of mine who lost her boyfriend in a random shooting. She wept repeatedly in class and finally dropped out. Later I heard she killed herself.
Song Description
A boy and girl meet and fall deeply in love. He buys her an engagement ring and asks her to marry him. She accepts. They plan their wedding. Walking home from school one day the boy is shot and killed. The girl, in the depths of despair, takes sleeping pills to kill herself. She believes that in death she will be reunited with her love of all time. During thunderstorms her crying can be heard in her room.
