Lyrics

There's a crazy man on the TV
He says the world is gonna end
There's a lady dancing in the shadows
She says her life it makes no sense
And a young man's lurking in the shadows
Lights a tab and he writes upon the wall
But his words are filled with hollow malice
'Cos he don't know what he's fighting for

Don't that make you think of a time and a place
Bring back all those happy days
Well when were they?

And the screen is shining in the corner
Crack a beer and stare in disbelief
A kid is missing, a family starts to mourn
And the war is in your living room
Well don't that make you wonder at it all
I want all those happy days
Well when were they?

And the bush is spoiling for a fight
The ring of evil is knocking at your door
But when you open up the window
All you see is the starving and the poor

Well don't that make you want to hide your face
I want all those happy days
Well when were they?
