"Filth!" is a 21st century update of a song I originally wrote in 1980, recorded in 2008 and remastered in 2009.

Song Description

"Filth!" is about poor personal hygiene, pornography, sleazy politics, dishonest relationships, corruption in the record industry, air and water pollution, foul language, pop marketing trends, and bad housekeeping. And you can dance to it! Solo guitar by Rick DiFonzo, funky Rex guitars by Kyle Zamora, everything else by Geary Yelton.

You look around and it is everywhere you look
You eat it every day in everything you cook
It's in your kitchen and it's even in your air
You smell it every day, but still it's always there

It's in your movies and it's even on your mind
It's in your magazines, it's gonna make you blind
It's in your water and it's out there on the street
I guarantee there's some in everything you eat

You're full of filth, I think that's all there is to you
And I can feel the filth in everything you do
Each word you utter is more filthy than before

It's on the television, on the radio
It fills the heads of almost everyone you know
