Story Behind The Song
This song started after hearing our drummer, Arturo play, the harmonica at practice. Noel thought let's incorporate it into one of our songs. Since none seemed to fit he composed this one and Dymphna set out to write the lyrics. So a counbtry song from a fusion band was born.
Song Description
Female independence in a country song with a little jazzy twist. A woman who realizes she doesn't need the man she's with, he's only been blocking her way. She's ready to break away and start new with only herself and faith along.

Lyrics
Here I Am
No fire left to burn the flame
Here I Am
A simple girl, no claim to fame
Here I Am
A shell, A leaf in a raging storm
Here I Am
Calling out to see it through
Here I Am
Finding hope within myself
Here I Am
A girl, not afraid to be alone
A girl, a girl not afraid to be alone
Knelling at the Pew
Knelling at the Pew
Knelling at the Pew
Knelling at the Pew
There you are
Waiting for this girl to fall
There you are
A little man, no pride at all
There you are
A stump, A log on an open road
There you are
Reaching out to pull me in
There you are
Losing all you once possesed
There you are
A man, afraid to be alone
A man, a man afraid to be alone
Knelling at the Pew
Knelling at the Pew
Knelling at the Pew
Knelling at the Pew
Here I Come
Cross a bridge that's just been built
Here I Come
A vacant sheet, no pen in hand
Here I Come
Unmasked, Unswayed to the course ahead
Here I Come
Over streams of rock and moss
Here I Come
Searching faith to guide me through
Here I Come
A girl, not afraid to find the truth
A girl, a girl not afraid to find the truth
Knelling at the Pew
Knelling at the Pew
Knelling at the Pew
Knelling at the Pew
Here I Am
No fire left to burn the flame
Here I Am
A simple girl, no claim to fame
Here I Am
A shell, A leaf in a raging storm
Here I Am
Calling out to see it through
Here I Am
Finding hope within myself
Here I Am
A girl, not afraid to be alone
A girl, a girl not afraid to be alone
