FDR

Story Behind The Song

Probably too many Political Science classes. We recorded countless takes of this one and left it that evening without knowing if we even achieved anything. A week later, we discovered we had a great song.

Song Description

It is a (very) short history lesson. A reminder of an American ideal that has been lost. It's about idolizing someone who isn't a rockstar or a Hollywood celebrity. FDR is the epitome of triumph over adversity; a crippled champion of a crippled country
