Story Behind The Song

Nick Venturella's SweetSonic begins with the Refreshments-esque song, ?1,000 Years,? in which the main character singing announces his re-birth or re-discovery of himself in the midst of a fledgling relationship, while the possibility of new love emerges. The album proceeds depicting the battle between irrational and practical worlds of love and everyday life with bits of social commentary and self-exploration.
