DECLARATION

Spoken: In Congress, July 4th, 1776. The Unanimous Declaration of the Thirteen United States of America.

When in the course of human events, it makes common sense to declare,
Since we?re all the same, we?re just staking our claim to the God-given rights we all share.
To be happy and free to pursue any dream, is the goal that we hold in our hands.
And our government should, for the Great Common Good, keep us free and respect our demands.

?Cause WE?RE THE PEOPLE! And Freedom?s what we need.
WE?RE THE PEOPLE! If we have to fight and bleed,
WE?RE THE PEOPLE! And we cannot be denied...
?Cause WE?RE THE PEOPLE!

Spoken: Let these facts be submitted to an impartial world:

KING GEORGE! He would have us relinquish our rights!
KING GEORGE! He has made judges dependent on his will!
KING GEORGE! He dismisses anyone who opposes him!
KING GEORGE! He has altered the powers of our government!
KING GEORGE! He has obstructed the administration of justice!
KING GEORGE HAS DESTROYED THE LIVES OF OUR PEOPLE!

Tyrant beware! We are right and it?s fair to refuse the abuse that we?re used to.
We don?t have to stand for a despot?s demands unless the oppressed simply choose to.
From this day until people talk ? and they will, of the courage displayed here today,
United, we see what the future must be, and that?s why we stand up and say:

WE?RE THE PEOPLE! And Freedom?s what we need.
