The Bridge

Story Behind The Song

While staying in the beautiful northern Japan prefecture of Iwate in 2011, I used to practice trumpet everyday near the bridge crossing the Kitakami River. On rainy days, I did my practicing under the bridge. It was very peaceful but could also be a little lonely and depressing.
