Here is a home recording of a stream of consciousness love song. The singer is a broken individual hoping for healing in love. Passionately sung with plenty of angst, accompanied by piano with some background ambiance from the synthesizer. Favorite lyric: Me falling while you're standing there. Wow, there is really something special going on here. The extreme raw nature of this is a big part. What would detract from many songs is what makes this really work... we hear authenticity, passion, and a haunting beauty that few of us could emulate with that single mic and a piano with loud clunky pedals. It is perfect.

The voice is wonderfully organic and transitions from those near-falsetto notes to the lower register very well while maintaining an authentic pitch and timbre that is a breath of fresh air compared to many tracks these days.

It isn't a fancy or flashy production. Part of me would love to hear a stronger "hook" coming around, or a bit more refined mix... but in the end, I wouldn't change a damned thing.
