Story Behind The Song
i had been writing this song for about 6 months, kept it on the back burner. then i heard a song that had one lyric talking about how money won't be an issue anymore, and it spawned this idea. i finally put lyrics down to the melody and had it done after an hour or so.

Lyrics
she said, "don't you know that the bills are due this week?" cupboards bare in the fridge cold air, there's just nothing to eat. and i can't go on. tomorrow i'll be gone. i promise we'll get there someday. yes i promise we'll get there some day, and i promise all the bills will be paid. babe, i know you're tired and out of breath. but lately i have been trying so hard and working to death. and i can't understand why this is out of our hands. hey girl stop crying, there's nothing for you to fear. i'm not leaving, and i always will be right here. had enough, your temper's hot, you're letting down, giving up. take my had and i will carry the both of us. don't give a line, no not this time, c'mon i promise we're fine.
