Story Behind The Song
when i couldn't walk, i read a lot. i read a lot of stephen king and completed his entire dark tower series. it was part of my recovery in a sense. i wrote this song before i had finished the last book, but the lyrics ended up working out perfectly. one of my favorite lines is, "i cannot determine whether it's the end or did we begin?" because that is very true to the book. i wrote stephen king and sent him a copy, i'll probably send him a copy of the newly recorded version.
Song Description
i know my voice sucks, so please critique the song writing and the melody more so than my actual performance. my goal is to write songs for other people, not so much perform them, but i can do both (working on vocals everyday). this is about roland and the dark tower (stephen king's series 'dark tower').

Lyrics
go pack your bags and collect your things. you never know what this morning will bring. move in haste, somewhere far, somewhere safe. there's many roads and i cannot complain. these many roads certify my blind fate. let's move on. somewere kind, somewhere dark. this day. these many traps undermine our feet. nevermind who's watching so closely. take your seat. listen well, beg you please. this city's plagued with 1000's of disease. going around is far out of our reach. get ready, stand your ground, stay steady, this day. i cannot see behind the intent inside your cold steel eyes. i cannot determine whether it's the end, or did we begin? we'll travel on inspite all of our fears. it may take several months or even years. move in haste, time is strange in this place. i see our goal is not far of our sights. let's take this rest and i beg it do ya fine. get ready the time is near, stay steady, this day.
