Story Behind The Song
I wrote it for my uncle after he was diagnosed with cancer to cheer him on while he was undergoing chemotherapy. I wanted to somehow keep him alive even if he didn't pull through by immortalizing him in a song.

Lyrics
You managed to find me when
I didn't think anyone
could love me as I am
You're the best man I've ever known
who I can always count on
in the good times and the bad
But you've been feeling run down lately
And you found out it's worse than you thought
Well it's my turn to care for you now
CHORUS
You won't see me cry
'Cause I'm hanging on to you
You won't see me stop
believing you'll pull right through
You won't see me cry
Deep down inside I find
I'll keep your love alive
You won't see me cry
Next year you were gonna change jobs
And finally do what you love
like you'd always planned
But one day you were healthy and now you're not
Six months is all they say you've got
You squeeze forever in while you can
You're so calm and strong and selfless
Loving everyone you see
You're a role model to me
CHORUS
You've had tough times and made it through
It's just another test to challenge you
You can fight it, rise above it
You're a survivor
Let my love lift you higher
CHORUS
