Story Behind The Song
This song was inspired by a long distance relationship that I had for a long time. It's about the loyalty we shared for each other despite the distance, and how much we always just wanted to get away from our lives in our repective cities and go away together.

Lyrics
If I walked to South Carolina
Or down to Santa Cruz
You would go until you found me and
Bring another pair of shoes
And a lunch all packed for two
If you left to join the circus
Or a one man traveling show
I would go until I found you
And buy a ticket to all your shows
And I’d sit in the very front row
And if time would leave us
A little control, I think we
Could go together
In your El Camino
If we drive drive drive
Through the dead of the night
To a new day
To a new day
So let’s go
Let’s go and get out of here
Let’s go away from here
If you found yourself in a far away land
With a dark and evil captor
I would go until I freed you
And harness up your rapture
And revel in your capture
If I found your heart weary
From dark and isolated nights
you spent alone
I would fill that empty space inside you
I'd fill it till it began to feel like home
And if time would leave us
A little control, I think we
Could go together
In your El Camino
If we drive drive drive
Through the dead of the night
To a new day
To a new day
So let’s go
Let’s go and get out of here
Let’s go away from here
