The title comes from an excellent book written by John Jerome. "Blue Rooms-Ripples, Rivers, Pools and other Waters." about water, and our lives. The arpeggio in the guitar was inspired by The Moldau.

This written for the chamber group Rappahannock and appeared on their cd "Before the Dawn". Very much in the minor mood, w/ a bridge in the relative major, then back to the minor key.

Beautiful intro, love the double bass lead. Nice acoustic arpeggio backing and the violin is just beautiful, great accompaniment all the way around. Adding the flute was nice.
