Story Behind The Song
Originally written as a pseudo-rap-folk song for my daughter, the energy and impact were abridged at a later time time to reach a less personal and mire universal story about Tibet and the occupation of their country by a foreign power.

Lyrics
Cry Like Water
© 2000 Michael Kucsmas
Cry like water
Fall like snow
Move like thunder
Fly like a crow....
Venerated priests in mountain palace,
open up your heart and lay down the chalice
to the setting-sun of a soldier's gun
and the smoke in the temple of the holy ones...
With a realization of human passion
and raps and traps of perfect-action
crying people like needles in cradles of haystacks
turns the key really sets me back...
Chorus
Gracing the ways of the shameless age
and spirit faster has to sometimes matter
what I do to and you and you and true
we don't know just what we do...
Silenced treasure-tongues of a thousand ones
at the end of the day as the elders run
yet it all remains the same and more
but everything is changing and here it comes again...
Chorus / bridge
A corner of the world lies open, unspoken
otherwise rearranged will not be broken
where they come from go to phantoms on grasses
and sands on the desert footprint passes...
As we leave on a plane in the Tibetan rain
and the tires on the tarmac hydroplane
another place in time, crossing the line
hold your breath close your eyes and open up your mind...
Chorus!
