Story Behind The Song
I wanted to create a feel-good pop love song. Something similar to 'Mine' by Bazzi and 'Healthy' by PRETTYMUCH. They are both really good, feel-good pop songs. I wanted to create something in that realm. I made the beat in about 20 minutes. Writing the lyrics to the song took me 3 days.
Song Description
The song is about a guy wanting more than a one-night stand. He's telling a girl, "Hey, pack a bag of things you need for a few days. I want to get to know you more." I wrote this song from the standpoint of if I had a girl that I really liked. I don't have a girlfriend, but I imagined what I would say to have her stay. The lyrics describe how I can't get this girl out of my head. All I want to do is wake up to this girl every morning for the rest of my life.
