My Grand mother had passed away and ex-husband had been to war. A combination of events inspired this song. It is a little of the way I would want to be remembered

The man's wife is dying and he is not ready to let go. He is remembering their life together and he know that it is best for her to go and be with the Lord. They do not get to speak again, but know that they will be in heaven together.
