Story Behind The Song

At the time that I wrote this song I was not going through this scenario whatsoever. My lover and I were doing just fine, nothing was wrong. I got into the recording studio with one of my producers and the words started trickling down on my paper like rain drops. It was very natural, nothing was overanalyzed or critical. I think this is one of my best songs, funny because I can relate to it now. But at the time I didn't know I was actually calling those lyrics into existence.
