A young woman tries to connect with her father who has raised her at arms length in the absence of her mother who died giving birth to her. She paints a picture of the two of them sailing across the sea together to far beyond what either can imagine, to a place where perhaps they can move beyond the painful memories of the woman they both loved and lost..and find each other.
