Story Behind The Song
Posing the question: Does the world, i.e. popular culture, music industry, society in general actually see the world for all it's richness and vitality and are they stuck in a one-dimensional appreciation of life? We are calling out to those who do see the vibrancy of life and risk to join and fight the evils of mediocrity.
Song Description
We walk into the street from a dark room to find that it is dawn and we are alone, and somehow ecstatic about our current situation... what it is, we are not yet told.... only that something big has gone down.... The apocalypse? a crime? A mind blowing drug and sex crazed celebration?... all we know is that we have done and are currently experiencing something that we can only speculate that no one has ever done or felt before. Are we alone or are there others who know about what we are feeling?

Lyrics
"Last of our Kind"
Has anybody ever done something this crazy before?
I know we couldn't be the first but then who's keeping score?
She knows a sister uptown to get us in through the door
We may not know just how to work it but we know what it's for
Now not a word can be said we gotta keep it real tight
We'll never get another chance to make another wrong right
Since we smoked our stuff and we drank all our wine
May as well 'cause if we don't somebody else might
We paved the foot-worn streets with the sounds of our mind
We'll take another way back you never know what we'll find
Is anybody out there... come in give us a sign
Are we the only ones left?
Are we the last of our kind?
