Questions

Its three a.m. no sleep again
I lay here alone and in my mind
I try to find the answer to why

Why is there hunger and poverty?
Why cant the oppressed just be free?
Why is there war instead of peace?
Why cant we all sing in harmony?

Its five p.m. Im on way
Today has been an ordinary day
What have I done to change a life?
Will it be another sleepless night?

Why is there hunger and poverty?
Why cant the oppressed just be free?
Why is there war instead of peace?
Why cant we all sing in harmony?

Its three a.m. no sleep again
I lay here alone and in my mind
I try to find the answer to why
