Lyrics
Lyrics and Music by Mary Huddleston and Michael Waxman
I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE
Stuck in this dark and smokey barroom with a smile pasted on my face
And all I really long for is just to see the light of day
Of the person that I used to be, I can not find a trace
And to get to where I'm going there has to be a better way
Won't you please show me the door
I'm running in circles
I can't do this anymore
I can't help but wonder how I ever got this low
Seems like a never ending battle just trying to reach my goal
Now I've got to break this cycle before I've got nothing left to show
Cause all I've ever wanted is to do the thing that feeds my soul
Won't you please show me the door
I've been running in circles
I can't do this anymore
No no no
Yeah I'm heading for that door cause I can't do this anymore
(Spoken)
I am so tired of running in circles somebody please show me the door
I can't do this, no I will not, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
I am walking out that door cause there's one thing I know for sure
I can't do this anymore
