Lyrics

THE DREAM
Words and music by Martina Flaherty

1ST VERSE

Pieces are falling, can you hear them
Feels like a bad storm it is blowing
I hear the rain against the ground
But I don't like the sound

2ND VERSE

I see a stranger in the distance
I never knew of his existence
I step outside to look around
But I don't like the sound

CHORUS

If I could close my eyes
And fall into a dream
The sun would never rise
You'd never hear me scream

3RD VERSE

Tossing and turning in this madness
So many thoughts but I am speechless
I hear the rain against the ground
But I don't like the sound
