I was on a date in a cemetary, and this topic of a last will and testament where one is cremated and smoked by his loved ones came up from somewhere. And it evolved from there.

Lyrics

fly me home
in the cheapest cardboard casket.
no padding foam,
let me feel the bumpy ride.
even though
i?ve died
a great big billionaire,
grant this wish.

don?t need my bones
for the coming resurrection,
and no headstone,
my grave will be the sky,
so light me up
like a College Station bonfire,
then take my ash ?

and roll me up
and smoke me like a dooby,
and pass me around
to my dearest friends.
just roll me up
and smoke me like a dooby
and get high off my ?
well that depends.

did you like me
for my money
and the presents that i gave?
did you like me
for the rude and nasty ways
i?d misbehave?
did you like me
enough to love me
and know the real me?
ah, well boys.
it doesn?t matter now.

my dearest wife,
sorry that i broke
our promise to leave
this life arm and arm,
side by side.
so take a hit
and remember
how much i love you.
perhaps i?ll see you soon.

it?s true my friends,
you simply can?t take it
with you, no inheritance
once you?ve tossed
this mortal coil.
and so surprise,
all my cash and stocks and deeds
were torched there
with my bones.

so roll me up
and smoke me like a dooby
and pass me around
to my dearest friends.
just roll me up
and smoke me like a dooby
and get high
off of my dividends.

if i never
made you happy
with my flooding river smile,
and if my presence
never calmed
your weary chatter
for awhile.
and if i never
gave you reason
to love this life of ours,
then my cash
can?t help you now.
